I miss having a President that could string together more than 3 words at a time. If you want to hear what Pres. Clinton had to say about the torture bill in Congress, he had an interview with NPR this week that they have posted as a podcast.

edit: Here is a link to an old article on freerepublic.com illustrating the response that Clinton was referencing with his “wag the dog” comments (called, interstingly enough, Wag The Dog ! Wag the Dog! We are bombing Afganhistan). Why link to the archive.org, you may be asking. The real question is what we’re NOT hearing is if the strikes were conducted with the approval of Afghanistan & Sudan; and IF those other soverign states KNEW of our intention to launch attacks inside their territory.
