    • In case you were wondering… No, you can not substitute dishwashing detergent for dishwasher detergent.

      Dishwashing liquid is meant to be gentle on the skin of your hands. Instead of harsh detergents, it relies largely on your elbow grease to clean the dishes. Dishwasher detergent is much more harsh, and effective.
