This song is about a father and daughter and of course a man wouldn't sing it to his son. It is about a daughter and father relationship which is very different from a son and father relationship. Men and women are not the same!! Every relationship in this world is different from all of the others. I loved her first is a beautiful song about a father and daughter, don't make more of it than it is!!
